Appointments

HIPPA Protected ZOOM Sessions are available Monday - Thursday and may be scheduled by phone at (206) 323-0339 or by email at unfoldingheart@icloud.com.

Fees

• Individual Therapy Sessions / Professional Case Consultation Sessions are $250.00 per 60 minutes.

• Couple Sessions are $280.00 per 60 minutes.

• Additional/in-between session check-in time is billed in 10 - 15 minute increments.

• Payment is discussed/agreed upon with signature before the first appointment in keeping with the WA / AZ State requirements to provide a “good faith estimate.” Payment is due at the beginning of each session.

• Kathleen offers Ivy Pay, a HIPPA-secure credit card / HSA payment option.

• Cancellation Policy: A 48-hour notice of cancellation is required.

• Clients are financially responsible for late cancellations or missed appointments; this means full payment for the reserved session.

Insurance

Kathleen Tyrrell is an "out of network" provider for most insurance carriers. This means clients pay in full at the beginning of each session. A receipt is provided every four sessions upon request. Clients send this receipt to their insurance company for reimbursement.  
Ask your insurance carrier the questions below if you want your insurance to reimburse you. Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

• Does my insurance cover "out of network" / "third-party" providers?

• What is the coverage amount reimbursed to me per therapy session?

• Is the insurance company willing to reimburse me directly?

• Does the insurance company require a primary care physician referral?

• What is my deductible, and has it been met?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
